Getting you back on your feet with our trained staff.
Therapy Services
Perhaps you have recently undergone surgery, or had an illness or fall that has left you feeling under the weather. In that case, our Wellsville Rehabilitation team is here to meet your needs. Remember, this can also be done on an out-patient basis. Frequent referrals from area physicians to our in-patient and out-patient services are a reflection of our physical, speech and occupational therapy programs. Wellsville Health & Rehab is also excited to announce we are a Certified Anodyne Therapy Center.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy is based on engagement in meaningful activities of daily living. Some examples would be increasing independence and safety with dressing, toileting, showering, cooking, and leisure activities. Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Occupational Therapist Assistants (OTAs) encourage participation in these activities despite impairments or limitations in physical and mental functioning. OTs and OTAs recommend adaptations/modifications to a resident’s environment to increase safety and independence, educate family and caregivers and may aide in increasing resident’s upper extremity strength, improve endurance and develop a home exercise program.
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy focuses on helping you perform functional activities and/or movement in your daily life. This includes getting up and down from different surfaces, walking, climbing stairs and ramps and balance. Our Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants develop a care plan customized to your actual needs to return home after a hospitalization, surgery or illness. We also can help with a home exercise program to improve fitness, relieve pain or asses for different assistive walking devices. We are here to help you do the things you want to do!
